A pleasant sunny Sunday!
Our latest update comes immediately after Sunday morning’s walk to Cascada for breakfast.
“It was a beautiful day after a bit of bad weather so it was lovely to be out”, reports Sheran.
The group was also visited by the ‘Hell’s Santas’ on their Harley Davidson motorcycles, who were collecting for charity.
How nice to see the Christmas spirit out and about once again, in these troubled times.
Other updates, as per Sheran’s email to members last week:
A few changes and some new events!
Tuesdays 12.30pm lunchtime drinks at Las Dos Perlas. This is to replace Sundowners. Please come along and stop for a coffee, wine or lunch. This will be a regular event.
Thursdays 11.00 am coffee at Las Gaviotas. This is our most popular event and it is lovely to catch up, even if you are passing by, come and say hello.
Thursday 24th December 12.00. Mulled wine and mince pies at Carolyn’s house on Cumbre. Numbers are limited so please reply directly to her at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to join us.
If anyone would like to organise a lunch event please let Sheran know. A few people have expressed an interest.
Sheran also says: “I doubt if New Years Day will be on at Portet, but maybe some of us could meet up in Moraira to celebrate?”
PS – a recommendation: “I had excellent service from Galaxia pneumaticos on the Main Street in Teulada. Under new management and Ash did a wonderful job on my car. Tyres, brakes pre ITV and he even cleaned it!” – Sheran.
